What are the restrictions?

While we try to keep the use of the certificates as close to cash as possible, we do impose a few restrictions to protect the businesses from abuse of the program.

1. The certificates may not be redeemed for cash.
   

2. They may only be used to purchase goods and services from the participating merchant. Some additional restrictions may apply. Check merchant profile on web site before using.
   

3. The user must use the full face amount of the certificate or forfeit any remainder. There will be no change or credit given for any remainder.
   

4. The certificates may not be used for gratuities at any merchant where gratuities are customary. Recommended gratuity is 18% of total purchase. Please base your gratuity on the entire amount of the bill.
   

5. In dining establishments, a maximum of $250 per table will be accepted. Separate checks do not negate this limit.
   

6. In dining establishments, tables of 10 or more are limited to use these certificates for no more than 1/2 of the total bill. Separate checks do not negate this limit.
   

7. May not be combined with coupons or other special promotions.
   

8. Purchase of these certificates is non-refundable.
   

9. There is no expiration date for these certificates.
   

10. May not be used at lodging properties for lodging from
    6/10 through 8/20.
    

11. It is not necessary to disclose how you will be paying for your lodging when negotiating a rate with a property. However, if you intend to use the certificates, and the lodging property is actively participating, you must advise them you will be using the certificates, and send them the certificates immediately. The payment is non-refundable. Should you book a room with a lodging property while they are active in the program, but don't pay for the room at the time of booking, the property is not obligated to accept the certificates if they are not active in the program at the time you check in. In other words, all businesses are under no obligation to accept the certificates when presented if they are not actively participating at the time the certificates are presented.

12. Check web site and weekly hot sheet for list of participating merchants. Merchants not listed on web site as active or on weekly hot sheet will not accept this certificate.

13. While we strongly discourage it, other restrictions may apply to individual businesses. Check their web description for any additional limitations they may place on the use of the certificates.
